The St. Cloud River Bats lost 2-0 at 7-6 at Thunder Bay in a 2-7 inning doubleheader on Canada Day
Wednesday. David Deminsky threw 6 innings with 10 hits and 6 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 4-2. St. Cloud managed 9 hits but no runs. In game 2 the Bats lost 7-6. Thunder Bay scored 6 first inning runs and held on to win. Logan Birr started the game for the Bats and failed to get anyone out with 6 hits and 6 earned runs allowed to take the loss. Jonathan Roof went 2-4 with 2 runs scored and Kurt Schlangen went 1-3 with 2 RBIs for St. Cloud. The Bats fall to 13-20 and will play at Thunder Bay again tonight at 6:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:35. This is the final game of a 4-game series.
