The Twins lost 5-1 to the Cincinnati Reds in Sarasota, Florida Thursday afternoon.  Nick Blackburn threw 5 innings with 3 hits and 1 earned run allowed.  Despite the solid outing for Blackburn he took the loss.  Blackburn will likely start the season in the Twins rotation.  Matt Tolbert went 2-4 with an RBI for the Twins.  Minnesota will play the Pittsburgh Pirates at 12:05 today.  The home and season opener for the Twins will play Monday night at 6:05, pregame on WJON at 5:35.
