The Tech boys basketball team saw their 19-game win streak snapped Thursday afternoon 83-59 to Minnetonka in the Class 4A State tournament semifinals at Target Center in Minneapolis. Tech trailed by just 6 points late in the first half before Minnetonka went on a 11-0 run to close the half with a 15-point lead. Tech couldn't catch up in the 2nd half. Tech was led by Alex Hanks with 21 points and Collin Stinogel added 11 points. Nate Wolters was held to 7 points and 6 rebounds for Tech. Anthony Tucker led Minnetonka with 25 points. Tech falls to 28-3 and will play Robbinsdale Cooper at 4pm Saturday afternoon at Concordia-St. Paul, hear the game on WJON. Minnetonka will play Henry Sibley for the Class 4A state title at 8pm Saturday night at Target Center.
