Area schools begin the 2008 high school football season tonight throughout the area.  Tech will host Brainerd tonight in a key Central Lakes Conference battle at 7pm at Clark Field.  Elsewhere Sauk Rapids-Rice is at Alexandria, Little Falls is at Sartell-St. Stephen, Montevideo is at Cathedral and Apollo plays at Rocori.  You can hear the Apollo/Rocori game live from Cold Spring with Matt Leither and Gary Diestel calling the action on AM 1390-the Fan.  AM 1390-the Fan will also have score updates throughout the area during the Rocori/Apollo game.
