The St. John's football team begins practice in Collegeville today.  The Johnnies will have to find a replacement at quarterback for the recently graduated Alex Kofoed.  St. Cloud Tech graduate Jordan Hansel was #2 on the depth chart behind Kofoed last year but an open competition for the starting job will take place at camp.  St. John's offensive coordinator Jim Gagliardi says they have lots of openings on offense including receiver, offensive line, running back and quarterback.  The Johnnies open the 2008 season September 6 at 11am against East Texas Baptist at Clemens Stadium.  St. John's head coach John Gagliardi is the winningest coach in college football history with 453.
