1390 The Fan Sports News


The St. Cloud River Bats lost 7-3 at Duluth Wednesday night.  Duluth scored 6 runs in the 1st inning and St. Cloud starter Andy Suiter threw just 1/3 innings with 2 hits, 2 walks and 6 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 2-3.  Matt Fanelli went 2-5 with 2 runs scored, Steve Cochrane was 2-3 with a run scored and Preston Hale went 2-4 for the Bats.  St. Cloud falls to 13-11 in the 2nd half of the season and is now 2 1/2 games back of Thunder Bay and Mankato for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.  St. Cloud will play at Duluth again tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
