The River Bats stopped a 2-game losing streak Tuesday night with a 3-2 win at home against Green
Bay. The Bats tied the game at 2 in the 4th inning and took a 3-2 lead with a run in the 5th inning. Preston Hale led St. Cloud at the plate going 1-3 with a homerun and 2 RBIs and Kevin Johnson was 1-4 with an RBI. Cole Cook threw the first 6 innings with 1 hit, 4 walks and 2 earned runs allowed to get the win and improve to 3-2. Xaiver Esquivel threw the 9th inning to grab his 12th save. St. Cloud is 13-10 in the 2nd half of the season and 31-25 overall. The Bats are 1 1/2 games back of Thunder Bay for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings. St. Cloud is at Duluth tonight at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
